Difference between predicate and properties

Neha
Hello,
I am pretty new to OwlReady2 and I would like to know the difference between a predicate (RDFlib) and a property (objectProperty, dataProperty etc)

Hi,

Predicates and properties are basically the same thing. The only difference is that OWL distinguish 3 types of properties (ObjectProperty, DataProperty and AnnotationProperty), while RDF does not. Thus you can create a property/predicate in RDF and use it with both objects and datatypes : this is valid in RDF but not in OWL.
