Classifying a single individual

Stefan
Hello,

would it somehow be possible to use a reasoner to classify only a single individual?
Using the reasoner to reason over the whole ontology takes a long time, but I am only really interested in the class of a single individual.

Hello,

It is not possible to classify a single individual because, from a logical point of view, the classification of other classes and individuals can impact the classification of the desired individual.

Thoerically, it should be possible to pre-classify all the ontology, and then to classify only a newly-added individual, but this is not implemented in Owlready (all possible not in reasoners too).

Best regards,
Jiba
